Character Information

Name: Itachi Uchiha
Canon: Naruto
Canon Point: When Itachi dies after his fight with Sasuke
Age: 21
History: A Wiki-Link to Itachi's history
Personality: Throughout the Naruto series, Itachi's personality has reflected what goal or agenda he needed to accomplish at that time. He has been depicted showing a variety of personalities to fit his time in the spotlight, whether as being cold and ruthless, a madman, and finally, gentle and kind. What his true personality is, the consensus of people who know the real Itachi will gravitate towards the latter. He is more than just a competent killer and former prodigy of a long-dead clan. He is a brother, loyal Konoha shinobi, and, despite the examples shown during the series, a pacifist. If he could live in a perfect world... he'd most likely never fight again, even going as far as the cite his concerns that he didn't want his little brother to grow up in a world of bloodshed.

Itachi is a firm believer in heiwa, or peace. He hardly ever strikes first, as he would prefer to talk things out and use diplomacy rather than resort to taking up arms (which is why he made such a good pair with his fellow Akatsuki member, Kisame, who had a violent streak in him that Itachi lacked). Regardless of the fact he is incredibly adept at combat, a "genius" at fighting and utilizing the powers passed down through family genetics, if there is another solution, he will gladly take it.

That being said, when Itachi sets his mind to something, he is incredibly stubborn. He has a tendency to believe his own thought process is right, and that he knows best. For the most part, he's grown out of this, but if his age and experience trumps the individual at the other end of the conversation, Itachi is more inclined to believe that he is correct, and the other is just drowning in their own musings on the matter. Having been through quite a lot during his twenty-one years of life, Itachi feels as if he has a fairly good idea of how things are. Of course, reality is far different than the one crafted by thought alone. He still has a lot to learn. While stubborn, he is not unwilling to see the other's side of things, or try something that he hasn't before.

Now, if someone had to list a weakness, a true weakness to Uchiha Itachi... well, most would imply that would be his little brother, Uchiha Sasuke. It's correct... to an extent. But Uchiha Itachi has an even deeper weakness, a habit he cannot break no matter how much he tries: confections. Yes, this man is a devout worshipper of all things sweet, despite what he makes himself out to be. It's one of his hobbies, even, to visit different confectionaries and try their delicacies. Anything from chocolates, to lollipops, cakes and pies, anything and everything created with sugar is up for grabs. His favorite, however, is dango, which lacks fundamentally in the sugar department as far as the actual dough goes... but what is put on top of it or even inside: read bean paste, green tea flavoring, sweet sauces and syrups... anything is good. And they're bite-sized, too. He could probably be prompted to do many things if the bribe is candy... doubly, if his brother is involved in any way, form, or fashion. Sasuke is still a weakness.

Speaking of Sasuke, Itachi's world is wrapped around the other. Sasuke is the end-all be-all, the person Itachi can say with absolutely certainty that he loves the most. He's done many terrible things, in the name of love, and for his little brother, Itachi would go through hell all over again. Of course, if there was a second time around, he'd take a different path... but the effort put forth would be the same, if not greater. If said brother was in danger, you can pretty much expect all of his talk about peace and heiwa and being a pacifist to fly right out the window... at least, until the dust has settled.

Itachi's general personality is somewhat serious, but that doesn't mean he is incapable of smiling or taking a joke. If allowed to relax, he knows how to deal with people, and feels as if he could understand many different types: from the tragic to the happy-go-lucky. He admires those who can still smile through the bad (such as Naruto), but also feels for those how had suffered hard times throughout their life. Of course, there's no such thing as a perfect world. Itachi knows that.

Only because he hasn't made it, yet.

Abilities: Itachi is an above-average (read: way above) shinobi, who is skilled in taijutsu (hand-to-hand), ninjutsu (techniques), and genjutsu (illusionary techniques). Most of his ninjytsu techniques are fire-based, but he can also do wind and water releases (hinting at a "self-defeating nature"). Out of the three categorized combat skills, his weakest point is taijutsu, but only because he had below-average stamina, as he had been dying from consumption and taking medication for it. He makes up for this with other techniques, especially genjutsu via the Sharingan, which are hereditary eyes from the Uchiha Family.

The Sharingan not only casts illusions, but was rumored to be able to "see the future". In reality, it allows the user to read moves just as quick as they came, allowing for immediate counter-action against them. It also can "copy" techniques, via being able to so easily watch how they are done. It cannot copy something that the user isn't capable of doing without it (such as trying to use magick in a non-magick world. Being a martial artist, Itachi could potentially copy someone's special wrestling move or high kick technique). It also has a move called Amaterasu, which ignites black flames capable of swallowing everything and it is unable to be put out.

For things outside his combat abilities, he is sharp as a tack and has a good heart. He's willing to do whatever it takes for the greater good, showing his incredible perseverance. He is keen and observational and for the most part, can read people decently well.

Strengths:
Mental fortitude
Independent
A secret keeper
Responsible
Willing to try new things

Weaknesses:
Stubborn
Too independent
Lack of foresight
Lack of physical stamina
Martyr

God/Shinki: Shinki
Why?: Being a god would put Itachi at the forefront, and if given the option, he would prefer to be the backdrop. He is already used to working towards a purpose, and having a god would do just that.
Cause Of Death: Lethal injuries from fight with brother, in combination with tuberculosis
Vessel: A silver-and-garnet finger armor ring [ Picture ]
Name Location: Beneath the navel
Power: Biological Transmogrification. An off-shoot of shapeshifting, this allows the affected individual to physically transform themselves into made-up, grotesque creatures, or morph and shape limbs into larger, monstrous, deadly versions. Examples: morphing an arm into one with monstrous claws and fleshy scales and boils, or shifting the whole body into a large, two-headed monster with razor sharp teeth. They would NOT be able to shapeshift into another person or into a perfect replica of an already existing creature: a chimera-like effect is always obtained.
